Stella Carakasi seeks a Technical Designer for rapidly growing women's apparel company (Berkeley, CA)
Full-time management level position. Requirements include:
Min. 10 yrs exp. in pattern making, first thru production
Strong knowledge in garment construction/production
Creates patterns on GGT Accumark system, incl. marking/grading
Exp. with wovens, knits, fully-fashioned knits, garment wash/dye a plus
Candidate proficient in computer programs:
Excel, Corel, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign, Gerber Fashion Studio a plus
Ideal candidate has:
Excellent communication skills with ability to communicate technical problems/solutions with overseas factories/private label customers
Executes projects on strict timelines & works independently in demanding environment
Extensive organizational, analytical, problem-solving skills
Leverages team with can-do attitude, results-focused, quality-driven, detail-oriented
